a Wardrobe Assistant. This is a last minute part time job where I am working at backstage looking after the costumes of the performers and rovers. My role is also to help them get dressed up, fix their costumes if broken or torn, sew things together, get their props working and so on. Basically they need to be in good condition before going out on stage.
This opportunity is available because Amway China has their company's dinner at Expo Hall 1. With like 2000 over staffs coming for the dinner. Hence they got some stage performers. The theme is based on fairies so the performers and rovers are all dressed up looking like fairies with wings. The performance also includes a group of young gals called the "M Girls" from Malaysia and a performance by our very own Ah Du. He looks like Ekin Cheng now though. Haha ... and the China people sure likes him ALOT.
Anyway speaking of the China people, they are really funny. When they arrived, they machiam high on drugs. We have fairies to mingle with them and take photos, they really QUEUE up to take photos with them. When the video crew go to them, they will jump and give the "V" pose. They aren't young anyway... acting cute in other words. I heard some of the China old man actually grabbed the butts of some of our lady fairies. Hmmm ... Humsup old man ...
